2025 guard Omari Witherspoon starts his official visit today in Fairfax. The 6’4” guard from Bowie, Maryland has been a target of the staff for some time and plays for St. John’s College High School in D.C.

According to , George Mason has completed the 2024-25 roster with a commitment from 6’8” forward Staš Sivka . Sivka played last season for Rogaska, a team in Slovenia and was teammates with former Patriot Javon Greene.

George Mason is expected to host Southern Idaho transfer Shahid Muhammad for an official visit tomorrow. The 6’11 C averaged 5.9ppg & 5.6rpg last season while serving as an elite rim protector, totaling 106 blocks in 30 games. Began his career at Seton Hall. 2 years remaining.

George Mason has earned the commitment of FGCU transfer Zach Anderson

The 6’7 F averaged 12.8ppg & 5.1rpg last season while hitting at a 45.9% clip from 3pt. A native of Apopka, FL, Anderson has one year of eligibility remaining.

It looks like Jordan Marsh .marsh2 had an official visit that started Wednesday. The 2023 5’11” PG was outstanding all year for Moravian Prep.

Kim English offered .marsh2 today after the High School Slam National Championship in SC. Jordan led Moravian Prep to the championship averaging 28 points a game and winning the MVP. He’s a 5’11” point guard who can drive and score.

George Mason continues to look for players to join the 2023 class. One of the Patriots’ top targets is - a 6’8” forward from Finland. Yalaho has a high basketball IQ, can hit shots from anywhere, and is a terrific passer. He’s currently playing for Western Reserve Academy in Hudson, Ohio.

The George Mason staff is still actively recruiting 2023 players for next season. One of those targets is - a 6’8” forward from Myers Park HS in Charlotte, NC. Strong is averaging 15.6 points and 5.3 boards this season for the 24-4 Mustangs. Coach Simpkins was in attendance last night to watch their 78-38 playoff win and extended him the offer.
