Ordered one crate of tulips at the last minute because I knew if I didn’t my flower heart would miss this🌷 they come and go fast but the joy they bring me is what it’s all about🫶Next up, dahlias 😏

Spring is near and I’m not upset about it🌷🌷🌷

As many of you know, this started as a hobby to keep busy during COVID.

During that time we’ve faced many personal challenges. For those who don’t know, my son has Autism and my daughter has Neurofibromatosis type 1. While life may look pretty on IG, this is a reminder that we all have our own battles we fight behind the scenes🥴

As you can imagine, the worry and stress it takes on a parent when you have a child with any sort of life altering condition is heavy. If you’re in the same boat, I feel you and am here for you!!!

The flowers have served as an outlet for us to get lost and forget about the scary stuff in life.

In 2026 we will be welcoming our third child into the world🥹!! With that, we will continue to do the hobby we love on a smaller scale, so it’s still enjoyable AND manageable 🤣

I have dreams of being able to give back more to Autism and NF1 research, and would love to start my own Nonprofit, BUT I need more hours in the day and more days in the week 😃

All this to say, I can’t express how much I appreciate you all. I love growing flowers and seeing the joy it brings to your day!

I gave up on flowers this year big time. Between work, life, kids appointments, extra curricular activities and so on, I couldn’t do it.

We never got everything planted after moving, so I just tossed my gloves in the bucket this year and said it is what it is.

I did some things here and there while Josh managed the farmers markets and that was the best we could do.

Whatever grew in the fields this year was based on us remembering to water and pure luck 😂

Today I made myself go forage outside and make a fall wreath. I felt like me again and remembered why I love our little flower hobby.

I haven’t given up but I have taken a few steps back!

Looking forward to 2026 and what it has in store for us.

The dahlias are starting to pop up and I’m like a kid in a candy shop cutting all the shortie stems I can get my hands on🩷

Also, my FAVORITE flower vase is hand made by ✨⭐️

We’ll be at the Woodland Farmers Market this morning with an abundance of peaches and apricots 😍
