๐Ÿฅช๐ŸŽ Back-to-school tip

Before the morning rush begins, take a quick look at the school lunch menu with your child or, if they're bringing lunch, let them help pack it!

Kids are often more excited to eat a lunch they helped choose, and it gives them a chance to practice responsibility and independence, too.

Just for fun...
๐Ÿ• Mr. Brantley's favorite school lunch was SQUARE pizza
๐ŸŒญ Mrs. Brantley's favorite was Pronto Pups.
๐Ÿฅœ And if she brought lunch from home, it was almost always a Peanut Butter & Grape jelly sandwich, carrot sticks, and a chocolate milk from school!** ๐Ÿฅ›

What was your favorite school lunch or your child's favorite school lunch? We'd love to hear! ๐Ÿ˜Š

๐Ÿคซ Back-to-school secret...

If your child's first early morning is the first day of school...it's going to feel like a long day for everyone. ๐Ÿ˜ด

Instead, start easing back into the school routine this weekend or by Monday. An earlier bedtime, an earlier wake-up, and breakfast before the big day can make the transition much smoother.

A little prep now can help make those first few school mornings a whole lot easier.

Enjoy the last weekend of summer, and here's to a fantastic school year ahead! ๐Ÿ“š๐ŸŽ

๐Ÿ† 5 Ways to Keep Moving Toward Your Next Belt This Summer ๐Ÿ†

Summer is full of vacations, pool days, trips to grandma's, and family funโ€”but don't forget your martial arts training!

๐Ÿฅ‹ 1. STAY CONSISTENT
Every class counts. A little practice each week helps keep your skills sharp and your progress moving forward.

๐Ÿค 2. TAKE TURNS
If your child has a friend in the same class, consider teaming up with another family. Taking turns bringing students to class can help lighten the load, make busy summer schedules easier to manage, and help students stay consistent with their training.

๐Ÿ’ป 3. USE YOUR ZOOM OPTION
Out of town? Visiting family? Our weekly Zoom classes are a great way to review and practice when you can't make it to the studio.

๐Ÿ† 4. SMALL DOSES ADD UP
Small steps add up. Even one class a week helps build the skills and confidence needed for your next promotion.

๐Ÿš€ 5. LEVEL UP YOUR TRAINING
With school out, many students have a little extra time during the day. Use our YouTube channel for additional practice and review. Just a few extra minutes a couple of times a week can help students remember their material and continue working toward their next belt.

Have fun this summer, and keep up the great work. Rememberโ€”black belts are built one class at a time!
