Fairfield American Little League

Fairfield American’s Opening Day celebration is this Saturday morning, April 27th, at Mill Hill Field at 9:00 AM.

Players and coaches should arrive by 9 AM so we can get everyone in position for the parade of teams onto the field. All kids registered to play this Spring with FALL are welcome to attend.

FALL will have ceremonial first pitches and a few other surprises. Players should wear their full uniforms for the festivities. We look forward to seeing everyone Saturday morning to kick of Fairfield American’s spring season!!!

Due to the weather, Field Cleanup Day has been moved to this Sunday, March 24th, at 12 pm.

We need as many volunteers as possible to make this go as quickly as possible. Please come out and help us get the fields ready for the season. We ask that you show up to the field assigned to the division that your child is signed up to play this spring season.

Final Call for spring registration for AA, AAA and Majors is this Friday March 1st. Registration for Future Stars, T Ball, Junior & Senior Cappy, and 50/70 remains open until April 1st but early bird registration prices expire on March 1st. Sign up today so you don't miss out!!!

FALL will be offering a CPR & AED certification program to FALL volunteers signed up for the spring season. The certification class is open to the first 12 volunteers that sign up. The certification will be provided by Emergency Medical Group of Fairfield and is valid for 2 years. By offering this program each year, we will have more volunteer coaches and members of the FALL community certified to increase our safety throughout the league as well the overall Fairfield community.

The certification program will be held from 5PM-7:30PM before the March 4th league meeting. Pizza will be provided.

FALL will separately be hosting a CPR & AED training class during the March league meeting to increase awareness amongst the FALL volunteers and parents. This training will not include certification but will be open to all FALL members. We strongly urge all coaches to attend the March meeting as well as all volunteers involved in the league to participate in the safety training class.

There is no signup required for the 30 minute training class – just show up at the March 4thmeeting at 7:30PM.

Congratulations to our 11 D players and coaches on their District 2 Championship win!!!

The Annual FALL Memorial Day Celebration is back for another year. This year's event is sponsored by CT Rage (superiorsportstrainingct.com) and will include a Majors All-Star game, Skills challenges for kids in AAA and Majors, music, ice cream and a great time for everyone.

The event will begin at 2 PM on Monday, May 29th at Mill Hill culminating with the Majors All-Star game around 4 PM and is open to all families in Fairfield American. We look forward to seeing everyone there!

FALL Day at Fairfield Ludlowe Baseball Game!

Please come out and join us for Ludlowe’s baseball game against McMahon High this Friday, April 28 at Kiwanis Field (next to Sullivan Field at 210 Old Dam Road). First pitch is at 4pm and admission is FREE. Fairfield American players can join the team on the field for the National Anthem before the game and meet the players and run the bases after the game.

The Fire Engine Pizza Truck will be there serving delicious food to all current FALL players (Future Stars through Majors) and we will also have give-aways for the kids and lots of fun for everyone! We hope to see you there this Friday.
