Getting back to balance

A dear friend sent the first video to me of her lil pup, Pooh. He was recently diagnosed with arthritis and, after consulting with her vet, I decided to try a few massage techniques that always help the horses. The second video is barely 24 hours after his first massage; he is still on the road to feeling better but the difference is undeniable. When we return to the fundamentals of anatomy and take a closer look of the body, we can effectively release tension and calm the central nervous system without the need for specialized tools.

With the EHV outbreak happening I want to insure my regulars that I’m taking this as serious as barns that are boarding. I already have a routine of washing my hands and disinfecting my tools between horses. I sometimes travel to 2-3 barns per day, so please know I will continue these habits along with having spare clothes to change in to between each barn. If you have an electro acupressure appointment coming up, the TENS pads are never used for more than one horse and their session and the device will be disinfected between each horse it’s used on. If you have any further questions about how I’m taking precaution please feel free to DM me.

Wimbley was not happy when you touched this area before we started his electro acupressure session. He was pinning his ears and pawing, after some very strategic electro sessions this was our end result. I wish I would have gotten a video of him before but look how relaxed and happy he is now 🐴💕
