I’m fortunate to have many clients that like to catch and release. Today this local client had a lot of family in town which would be here during the holidays. Kept some for a fish fry for several days. Trout fishing is insane right now.

Smoked em this morning with this couple. The ole trusty Rapala Storm I’ve used for decades still amazes me. Husband was able to cast so he used it and I casted live shrimp for her. Catch and release.

Had my old buddy Capt Lee Olander on board today continuing the upper slot red whack fest. Lot of catching and even more smack talk.

Insane upper slot redfish bite on this morning’s charter with guys from SC! Caught & released over 15 gorgeous reds. Every fish released. So good to see the upper slots back. 🔥

Epic trout bite this morning fishing solo in the Bon Secour Butchers tournament. Swept all 3 places in slot trout, won slam with 13.76 and 1st in red. Great morning! Net man missed a five pounder at the boat! 😡

Great day fishing solo in the Trick or Trout tournament. Managed to catch a toad slot Redfish at 7.03 lbs to get 1st place. Cool trophy. Missed my buddy Ethan with me.

Unlimited reds, black drum and white trout on this morning charter meant unlimited smiles from these siblings. Great morning.
