Becoming a member of an IEA team is a great opportunity to learn, ride, compete, and meet others that share your passion. Teams are forming now for the 2026-2027 season. The Ridge Riders are local to Morgantown, WV or find one in your area on the Interscholastic Equestrian Association website.

📣 Are you & your young rider interested in learning more about IEA and possibly joining our Ridge Riders team? Join us on Saturday, August 1, at 4pm for a casual meeting to learn more!

📍We’ll meet on the bleachers near the outdoor arena at our home barn, Valley Ridge Farm, Inc., which is located in Masontown, WV, just up Snake Hill Road from Cheat Lake/Morgantown. We’ll talk about the 2026-27 IEA season, our team, the role of parents & other supporting adults, and for new folks, we’ll go over how the whole IEA thing works (which we admit can be a little confusing at first!)

👋🏻 Several returning parents as well as our coach, Michele Koury, will be there to answer questions.

🏇 IEA is a wonderful program that makes horse showing more accessible and affordable in a team-based, family friendly environment. Riders don’t need to own or bring their own horses to IEA shows.

I don't speak out about much but what Dover Saddlery is doing is wrong!

Actions like this break my heart for the small businesses that put their trust and products in corporate business.

This could permanently hurt some smaller business from this action.

Watching the Dover Saddlery situation unfold is heartbreaking for the small businesses behind this industry.

While corporations liquidate and walk away, family-owned businesses are left carrying massive unpaid invoices for products they already poured their time, labor, and money into creating.

These are not faceless companies. These are real people, real families, local farms, rescues, and small teams trying to survive in an already difficult industry.

Support small businesses when you can. They are the heartbeat of the horse world. 🤍
