Registration is open for two of our biggest house tournaments!

The 27th Annual Wishbone Classic returns November 27–29 with divisions from 8U Half Ice through 18U and a three-game guarantee.

The 36th Annual Big Thaw Tournament returns in February with 8U taking the ice February 12–14, followed by 10U–18U February 19–21. All teams are guaranteed a minimum of four games.

Welcome to The Academy, Emma Ramseier! ⭐

Emma joins The Academy coaching staff after playing collegiately at SUNY Buffalo State, where she served as a three-year captain, and beginning her coaching career with Scorers Edge Hockey Group in Milwaukee.

As an Academy Coach, Emma will work across our programming, including directly with the Jr. Amerks Mites and Jr. Amerks Intro to Hockey program.

We’re excited to have Emma in Rochester and welcome her to The Academy!

The Monroe County Sheriff's Office - Rochester, NY hockey team is hitting the ice at Rochester Ice Center! 🏒

This Thursday, August 27 at 8:00 PM, the Sheriff’s Office will take on a visiting adult hockey team traveling all the way from Ireland.

Admission is free and the game is open to the public. Come out to Rochester Ice Center and support the Sheriff’s Office for a night of hockey and friendly competition.

Congratulations to this week’s Players of the Week, Tessa Hunt and Max Barbato!

Tessa brings consistent effort every time she is on the ice and is always looking for ways to improve her skating and vision. Her drive, confidence, and aggressive play continue to stand out.

Max takes advantage of every opportunity to get on the ice, whether he’s helping the goalies, staying late after clinics, or getting extra time during camp. His work ethic, enthusiasm, and leadership make an impact both on and off the ice.

A new Sunday night Adult D-League is coming to Rochester Ice Center!

Starting October 4, the league will feature two 12-game seasons and is intended primarily for newer players coming out of an adult beginner program.

Games will typically be played at 8:00 PM, 9:15 PM, and 9:20 PM, with Great American Wing Co. open before and after every game.
