We had just an afternoon run today. Wellā€¦ you guessed it the weatherman was wrong šŸ™„ Rachel drove the boys three hours to me saying I wouldnā€™t take my kids out in those conditions. It was puffing 5 footers!! She was completely understanding, but I could tell the boys were bummed out. I left and got a haircut and watched that stupid weather buoy like a hawk. The waves started dropping significantly. I called Captain Eric and said letā€™s get these boys on some fish. By the time we got to the fishing grounds, we had about an hour and a half of fishing. We made it happen and made great memories for these young men šŸ’Ŗ

Doubles Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. All trips punched their tickets. Fishing was a little screwed up so we went the extra distance. I believe we averaged 60 miles a day!! Kind of crazy especially with the price of fuel but if you fish with us you know Iā€™ll do what it takes to get you the fish. I want to thank everyone who came aboard the Dog with us, it was a pleasure fishing with everyone again and seeing you all.

We had a big group and a two boat deal Friday afternoon and Saturday morning so big thank you Capt Chris Bottom for tagging along and making memories with the guys. Looks like weā€™re off for a couple days and Captain Eric and Tony needed a little break. See you guys on the water soon!!

This morning was all about the kids!! We had to do the one way walleye slide with Bill and his sons bc the lake was slightly bumpy. Started slow and finished strong. Such a good trip!! Thanks guys and enjoy those fish.

I forgot to post Saturday mornings trip with Dr Croppā€™s group. ļæ¼Might have been the fastest bite of the year! Always a good time with you fellas. It was seriously INSANE fishing. Six rods and we killed the captain and mates fish 30 eyes in a hr. Ever since then itā€™s been kind of humbling though. Slower but good. I think it has something to do with the moon, bait, and feeding times. Plenty of fish out there you just have to find the hungry ones šŸ’Ŗ

Oh what the heck .. I guess Iā€™ll throw some dead fish up on here for you guys... Itā€™s been a pleasure fishing with everyone this season!! Honestly some reeļæ¼l therapy that the Captain needed. Get itā€¦ Reel therapy?? šŸ˜† I didnā€™t get all the groups up on here. Either the Fish house was packed or groups elected to not get a picture šŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™‚ļø we are hitting the tail end of the walleye/steelhead season. We are pretty darn busy for the next week and then things slow down. If youā€™re looking for some bigger fish and not a busy marina then September is the month for you!! I have killed a lot of big fish and a lot of steelhead in the month of September. If youā€™re wanting to get out on a good bite and stuff the freezer letā€™s make it happen!! 814-823-9439 Tony

Fishing remains incredible!! We ran one trip a day this past week excluding Thursday and a double yesterday. It is almost to easy to limit out. So we have been focusing most of our trips with dipsey and downrigger deeper program. Yes we deploy the boards on big groups of customers but those lines are if we have time to set. I used to post every trip and I feel kind of guilty not getting everyoneā€™s mugs on here!! Itā€™s more of a time thing for me and most groups have been going with the Doghouse since the beginning. Thank you everyone who fished this past week I enjoyed every moment on the boat with you guys!!

** this coming Sat AM just came available if anyone wants to get at it!! Also Aug 24th am is open, 28th am is open, 30th am open, and 31st am is available.

Deans group put hurting on the eyes!! Such a great morning with all of you thank you so much!! Heading to Waldermeer with my daughters cannot wait to spend quality time with them šŸ˜Š

We are truly blessed with the fishing that we have here in Erie, Pa. Had repeats Scott and his boy and grandkids on trip 1 and with a weather delay from storms scattered over the lake it was sporty. Walleye came in like a conveyor built tho.

Trio ll we had Bruce and his family, newbies to the dog but more than likely life long customers. The lake was rolling pretty good with big spaced out sets but made for a killer bite as well. Big fish of the day a big fat 29 inch female. Thank you everyone who made this day possible!! Hoping the am we are greeted with a nice lake šŸ¤ž
