The Fall River Warriors FC family is deeply saddened to hear of the tragic loss of a local child yesterday.

Our thoughts, prayers, and heartfelt condolences go out to the family, friends, classmates, teammates, and everyone affected by this unimaginable loss. There are no words that can ease the pain of losing a child, but we hope they find comfort in the love and support of their community during this difficult time.

We understand that he was a player with Acushnet Youth Soccer and that his siblings are also part of their soccer family. We would like to extend our deepest sympathies to the entire Acushnet Youth Soccer community, including his teammates, coaches, volunteers, and fellow soccer families who are grieving alongside them.

The soccer community is a close-knit family, and today we stand together in support, remembrance, and prayer.

Please keep this family and the Acushnet Youth Soccer community in your thoughts as they navigate this heartbreaking loss.

Sports do more than develop athletic skills—they build confidence, leadership, resilience, teamwork, and lifelong friendships. Yet many girls still face barriers that prevent them from getting involved or staying involved in sports. Initiatives like Get Her In The Game are helping change that by creating welcoming, supportive, and empowering opportunities for girls to play, grow, and thrive.

What a weekend for the Fall River Warriors at the New England Classic Tournament! ⚽️🖤❤️

Our players left everything on the pitch and represented the Fall River Warriors with pride, heart, and determination all weekend long. We won some, we lost some, and we tied some — through the cold, rain, and tough competition, every single player continued to battle and support one another.

While we didn’t come out on top this weekend, what truly stood out was the teamwork, dedication, discipline, and hard work shown by all of our teams. Every team that competed for championships finished in an impressive 3rd place, and we could not be prouder of the effort and resilience shown throughout the tournament.

Beyond the games, the team bonding, support, and morale across our Warriors family was unmatched. These moments build more than players — they build character, friendships, and future champions.

We fought a good fight, and this is only part of the journey.
