Ivy Land

Hello Everyone! I have received so many messages today and I want to Thank You all for reaching out. You may not know but Ivy Land, LLC has been sold as I am retiring. The new company has great people and I know the community will be well served. Thank you for ten wonderful years!

Our exciting and dynamic team of teachers is growing! We have two PT positions open. Please bring by your resume or fill out an application in person. No phone calls or text messages.

This week was EPIC at Ivy Land. The children have been learning parts of the body and how to avoid germs. They used items donated by Carson Tahoe Health, Torvik Veterinary Services and many parents! It was fun and exciting to try the different roles in an OR - surgeon, doctor, scrub nurse, anesthesiologist, circulating nurse and house keeper. They counted instruments, learned how to work as a team and they learned about how their body works. Special THANK YOU to Ms. Maureen our registered nurse who came to help the children in the dramatic play center! She was AMAZING!

A huge THANK YOU to Tumbleweed Garbage Disposal for coming to Ivy Land and sharing a story and games with the children. They even brought a truck for the kids to check out! The kids are still talking about it!

Community helpers month is off to a great start! Dr. Torvik came in to speak to the children about being a vet. They got to listen to her dogs heart beat! Thank you Dr. Torvik! The kids are still talking about it!
