July is a powerful month for investing in the future of our sport.

The Road Runners Club of America’s Kids Run the Nation Fund supports inclusive, community‑based youth running programs across the country — programs that help kids of all abilities discover confidence, joy, and belonging through running.

This year, the RRCA Board of Directors has issued a July challenge: every dollar donated to the Kids Run the Nation Fund will be matched dollar‑for‑dollar, up to $8,000.

I’m calling on RRCA clubs, event organizers, coaches, and our broader running community to join in. Your contribution — whether from your club, your event, or your coaching program — directly strengthens youth running initiatives nationwide. Together, we can expand access, support local leaders, and help the next generation fall in love with running.
