We made an instagram account! We are Woodleypool on instagram because we are creative and think outside the box.

Sorry for the confusing pair of emails this morning.

Woodley is currently closed due to the extreme code maroon air quality.

We apologize for the inconvenience. For Swim and Dive families you should have received alerts previously cancelling practices for this morning. The combination of high temperatures and heavy smoke from Canadian wildfires have made the air hazardous. This decision was not made lightly and we know it is particularly disappointing not to be able to use the pool on a hot Friday. While we trust our members to make the right health choices for themselves and their families, we also have a responsibility to keep our guards safe and they are the ones that would be forced to sit in this air quality for several hours on end.

Currently the forecast is for a front to begin moving this bad air out of the area overnight and we expect the pool to operate with normal hours tomorrow, including our final dual swim meet of the season. Obviously trivia is also cancelled for tonight and we will reschedule that for the near future.


Once again we are sorry, but the safety of our members and guards is paramount.

Hey, you looking for something to do tonight? Because we have the World Cup Semi Final between France and Spain under the pavilion at 3. Followed by the Warrior dive team taking the boards at 6.

And concessions will be open during the dive meet to get your dinner fix as well!

In case you didn’t see it, our trivia host can’t properly read a calendar. And therefore trivia is moving to 5:30 tomorrow instead of the originally planned 4:30.

Teams of 5 or fewer to get a bag full of treats and other nonsense. Prizes for top adult and kids teams.

The pump is up and running, we will be open normal hours today. Thanks for sticking with us.

Woodley is unfortunately closed for the day due to a power outage and mechanical issues with the pump. We are working with Atlantic Pools to perform repairs ASAP, but please keep an eye on your emails for operating status and swim/dive schedule.
