I always make an attempt to catch the rooster! Not sure if that’s a wise decision

Last morning in the field before the long haul home. Had to cut the hunt short, but we still found the birds! Check out the video from our final morning on a trip from last fall.

Rip’s swimming stroke started out a little choppy but once he got the bird he forgot about his back legs touching!

Here’s the full video of the “Pretty Good Shot” AKA Phenomenal Shot😁…Rip was on point on this bird for awhile, of course I couldn’t see him and was vibrating him to come back🤦‍♂️…rooster kept moving and he would follow and lock two more times…tip of the hat to my boy Rip!

Sorry for the bad words but I was shocked at how many flushed!

Pretty good shot by Haug! It’s not easy when the rooster flushes and goes behind us.

It was a very windy day, I missed way more than I should have but we still limited out!
