I have been flooded with questions on the recent ongoing battle regarding NFA items and Silencer Shop. This recent ruling only applies as of this moment to a limited scope of organizations/individuals that are involved with the direct court cases.

Additionally, the current law in the state of North Dakota shows that we are still required to complete a NFA Form 4 (5320.4). Please review this table provided by Silencer Shop as it pertains to other states.

This does not automatically mean that the ATF 5320.4 is no longer required for those states. Pay attention closely to the following case rulings as we aren't out of the woods yet but this is definitely showing signs of being where we as an industry feel we want to be.

This should also be a conversation that you have with your political leaders to make sure these changes are addressed as soon as possible to comply with Federal law. I personally have already brought this issue up for North Dakota with our state legislators but the more people that contact them the better. Everyone is also waiting on guidance from the ATF on how things will proceed. Everything is very muddy right now and things can change rather quickly.
