Oh awesome, I’ve reached my goal of losing 15 pounds, how do I lose the next 15 pounds? Oh, now my journey is I’m at my goal weight. How do I transform my body composition and get the abs I want?

When you fall in love with the journey, everything else takes care of itself. Keep failing forward, stay in the present, and enjoy the ride.

Your mind will believe what you tell it - What you whisper to yourself has power.

Positive people have negative thoughts, they just don’t let those thoughts control them. Your mind must be stronger than your emotions.

Our workouts are challenging. Week after week, you show up and push yourself. And as you improve your fitness, so will your mental toughness. As you develop this mental toughness, it is likely to spill over into other areas of your life. When facing a problem or challenge outside the gym, you will be more likely to approach it with confidence and resilience.

We have officially wrapped up the 2022 CrossFit Open! Don’t forget to log your scores before 7:00pm cst tonight!

22.3 brought us a challenge, as we tackled Pull-Ups, Dubs, Thrusters, C2Bs, and BMUs 😅

As we look back on this year’s Open, we can’t help but celebrate all the successes! From those who got their first pull-up, to those who took on an RX workout for the first time 🎉 And how can we forget about our amazing community that showed up to cheer each other on. This has been our best Open, and the timing is perfection, as we also celebrate having our doors open for 3 years this month 🎉

CrossFit Rev40, like many CrossFit gyms, does the workout Murph in honor of Memorial Day. The workout is named after Navy Lieutenant Michael Murphy, who was killed in action in Afghanistan on June 28, 2005.

Murphy was a huge CrossFit enthusiast and even named one of his favorite workouts after himself - "Body Armor." After his death, CrossFit created a workout in his memory that consists of a 1-mile run, 100 pull-ups, 200 push-ups, 300 squats, and another 1-mile run - all while wearing a weighted vest. This grueling workout is meant to honor not only Murphy but all of the men and women who have died while serving in the U.S. military.

Memorial Day is a time to remember and honor the sacrifices made by those who have served in the military. The Murph workout is a challenging and physical way to remember those who have given their lives for our country. Doing the workout in a group also fosters a sense of community and camaraderie, which is an important part of CrossFit culture.

Overall, doing the Murph workout on Memorial Day is a way to pay tribute to our fallen soldiers and to acknowledge the strength and endurance required to serve in the military. It's also a way to come together and honor their sacrifice as a community.

After a recent health scare, Mr. (76) and Mrs. (75) Seaman recommitted to their fitness and join us 3 times per week to work on regaining their strength. When asked their favorite benefit of CrossFit, they answered,

We at CrossFit Rev40 are constantly evolving and growing to educate you on the most effective methodologies out there in the fields of physical, mental, spiritual, and financial. Over the course of this year, you will continue to see clinics in these 4 areas and this month we are excited to partner with a dear friend of mine Ryan Utecht. He takes care of my family and I’m excited to share his expertise with all of you in order to improve your approach to money.

Here is a little about Ryan:
Ryan became a partner at Promus Financial Group after making the strategic decision to merge Utecht Financial and Promus Financial Group. These two firms have always been rooted in the same fundamental planning philosophies.
Promus Financial Group and Utecht Financial have collaborated for the past 12 years and it became apparent that working as one firm they could move forward with a larger team that brings a broader set of skills and capabilities.
Ryan has been married to Lisa for 20 years. They have been gifted three daughters and a son. Ava, Lauren, Elliette and Asher all have helping hearts and a spirit that guides them toward what is right and true. You'll most often find the Utecht family at a swim, soccer, choir or church event.
When Ryan and Lisa have time, they enjoy working out at the local CrossFit gym, walking and talking or attempting to create new delicacies in their kitchen.
Operating a successful financial planning practice and managing a family of 6 takes a lot of energy and dedication. Ryan and Lisa believe that it is essential to run hard every day after what matters most, be present with those around you and to engage in life experiences with those you care about.

One other item to note is they manage a little over 75 million dollars for our clients. They typically work with people who are coachable to changing the way they approach their personal economic model and are sincere about their desire to change the way they’ve approached money decisions in the past.

Are you tired of your friends telling you that you squat like a hamster wearing a wool cut off sweat shirt of Rocky Balboa and leg warmers, just awwwwkward???? Well you can get rid of those “eeekk” ghoulish bad habits and Drop it like it’s “Squaaat”!!!

Dr Brennan from and Coach Guy will be hosting a free Squat Clinic this Saturday at 8:30am.

We will be going over proper technique and fixes for the Air Squat, Back Squat, Front Squat, Overhead Squat, and Pistol Squat to help you move like a Supple Leopard in a silk jogging suit!

All you have to do is show up at the door with a good attitude and you too can squat with the best of them as your friends say “oh my what great big thighs you have!” The better to squat my sweet.

Space is limited also batteries not included so hurry and mark your calendar for this zen therapy clinic session.

Zero quit. Grind. Just show up. These are but a few phrases to describe coach

live by the mentality of the bison. How so? Bison see a storm and charge toward it, minimizing the storm's impact by fighting to break through the other side.

When I think about our people, coach Spencer is a bison. He charges through the toughest workouts leading by example. Rain or shine he gets it done.

The weather is changing Rev40. Laziness and mediocrity are crouching at your door seeking to over take you. But, You, must master this feeling and march into the storm. Overcome the habit to hibernate because the weather is changing and your bed feels so warm. Remember champions are forged through discipline and consistency. And what will you say next summer: I’m so glad I slept in or I’m so glad I worked on my summer body in the winter!

All things in creation live to their full potential given all variables are normal. The only one in creation that does not grow to their full potential are humans. The reason is we have been blessed with choice.
