Beast Mode. And a PRIME example of why we do “drop stick” drills ALL the time. So we’re always ready for an opportunity even under less than ideal circumstances

Yes. At the end of the day it’s a game.
At the end of the day that game doesn’t impact your quality of life.
We get that.
However.
You know what DOES impact your quality of life?

The PEOPLE on your team.
The ones who cheer with you in the wins.
The ones who console you in the losses.
The ones who encourage you on and off the ice.
The ones that laugh with you.
The ones that share with you.

THAT is what adaptive sports truly is outside of the hour of gameplay. It’s NOT just a group of people playing a game. It’s a connection to something bigger than ourselves and our circumstances.
On the ice we’re a team.
Off the ice we’re a group of people who all have different disabilities and different stories but together have found ways to make the journey a little easier.
THAT is what it’s all about.
THAT is what we have.
THAT is something we’ll forever be grateful of and forever share with everyone.

Because. Yes.
It is a game.
But. . . it’s MORE than ✨just✨ a game.
It’s community.
It’s camaraderie.
It’s. Family.
