We are excited to introduce the team at the **Willie Davis Jr. Recreation Center!** Our staff is here to serve our community, welcome our visitors, and help make the Rec Center a place where **everyone feels at home.** ❤️

👋 **April Duke – Director**
April is our new Director and is excited to begin this new chapter! She looks forward to bringing fresh ideas, activities, programs, and opportunities to the Recreation Center while continuing to build strong relationships throughout our community.

⭐ **Teddy Gipson – Assistant Director**
Teddy plays an important role in the day-to-day operations of the Rec Center and is committed to helping ensure our facility remains a welcoming and enjoyable place for everyone.

💪 **Keiundrae “Smiley” Woods – Part-Time Staff**
Smiley brings a positive attitude and great energy to our team and is always ready to lend a helping hand.

🏀 **Tristen Gatson – Part-Time Staff**
Tristen is another important part of our team, helping with the daily needs of the Recreation Center and serving our guests and community.

🎓 **Tyon “Ty” Wallace – Intern**
Ty is joining us as an intern, gaining valuable experience while bringing his own energy and ideas to the Rec Center.

🇺🇸 WE WILL NEVER FORGET – SEPTEMBER 11, 2001 🇺🇸

Today, the Willie Davis Jr. Recreation Center joins our community and our nation in remembering the lives lost on September 11, 2001.

We honor the innocent lives taken, the brave first responders who ran toward danger, the service members who answered the call, and the families whose lives were forever changed.

May we also remember the strength, courage, compassion, and unity that brought Americans together in the days that followed.

Today, we pause. We remember. We honor. ❤️🤍💙

Thank you Farmerville Fire Department for hosting half of the Jr. Explorer’s Camp. This was another outstanding year and we are excited for next year.

It has been a great privilege to work with the community and various organizations over the past 16 years. I will deeply miss all the children, including those I have had the joy of watching grow into remarkable adults, who will always hold a special place in my heart. I will also miss the wonderful friends I have made and the rewarding partnerships I have enjoyed throughout the years. At the same time, I look forward with excitement to the new endeavors and opportunities that lie ahead.
