We would like to thank our athletic trainer, Marnie, as she leaves Mercy to pursue new opportunities.
Countless taped ankles. Endless bags of ice. Hundreds of hours spent on the sidelines, in the training room, at practices, games, and events. Usually one of the first to arrive and one of the last to leave.
But Marnie’s greatest impact can’t be measured in numbers.
She was someone our student-athletes trusted, our coaches relied on, and our community was fortunate to have by its side. Through every injury, setback, comeback, and victory, she showed up with professionalism, compassion, and care.
Much of an athletic trainer’s work happens behind the scenes, but the difference Marnie made was felt every day by the athletes she helped, encouraged, and supported.
As she begins her next chapter, we want to say thank you. Thank you for the countless hours, the unwavering dedication, and the lasting impact you’ve had on Mercy Athletics.
You will be greatly missed, and we wish you nothing but the best in what comes next. ❤️💛
