🏆🏆 OAKLAND COUNTY CHAMPIONS x 2! 🏆🏆

History was made as Warner Middle School captured BOTH the Girls and Boys Oakland County Track Championships—the first time in 20 years that one school has swept both titles!

🔥 Girls Highlights:
• Bria James broke the Oakland County record in the 55m hurdles, won the 200m hurdles, and finished 2nd in the 400m.
• Bailey James won the 400m and finished 2nd in both the 100m and 200m.
• Olivia Whitlow placed 2nd in the 200m hurdles and 5th in the 200m dash.
• Avery Carter earned 3rd place in the 55m hurdles.
• The Vikings also posted Top-10 finishes in the 4x100 and 4x200 relays.

🔥 Boys Highlights:
• Gabe Dunn won the shot put.
• Izzy Sanders delivered a performance for the ages, winning the 70m, 100m, and 200m dashes while setting meet and school records.
• The 4x200 relay team of Max Cooke, Ronan D’Anna, Charles Gordon, and Jason Huff won in school-record fashion.
• Max Cooke finished 3rd in the 400m and helped lead the 4x400 relay team to a 2nd-place finish alongside MaKyle Lyttle, JJ Miles, and Ronan D’Anna.
• Kane Torres placed 5th in the high jump.

FPS hosted our first LVC Middle School Track League Meet at North Farmington High School with 11 teams! Thanks to all who made this a spectacular event. Congratulations to all of our teams and especially to Warner Middle School, who finished first for the boys team and second for the girls! 🏃🏾‍♂️🏃‍♀️🔥🔥
