Two of our players, Sean & Drake, got the chance to work with the UNM Esports team and provide live race commentary for the NMAA 2A Mario Kart Championship match between Floyd and Hagerman. You can catch the replay on NFHS!

The Scorps Super Smash Bros team ended the year at the 5A NMAA Esports Championships in 3rd place! Good job Scorps! That’s all she wrote for FHS Esports for 2026. See you in the fall and come game the us!

Your Scorps take down Carlsbad to make it to the final 4 in the NMAA 5A Super Smash Bros Tournament in Albuquerque on 4/25! Great job Scorps!

The Scorpion Mario Kart team of Ryan Sullivan, Sean Johnson, Khien Chiago, & Kyren Dickens takes the W against Carlsbad 2-0(89-67 & 79-77) in the best of three series! They move on to the quarterfinals and next week will play the winner of the match between the La Cueva Bears & the Eldorado Eagles.

The Smash Bros Scorps advance to the 5A Quarterfinals next week and take on the Carlsbad Cavemen!

The 2026 Sub Varsity season has concluded. Our JV & C Team Super Smash Bros teams ended the season ranked in the Top 5 in the entire state! Good job, the future looks bright!
