A new court filing shows that even though the 2023 pistol brace rule was wiped off the books, the ATF is still arguing that some brace-equipped pistols can be treated as short-barreled rifles under existing federal law.

Tomorrow 2/16 is the day that this bill will be heard in the House Judiciary Committee, the final step before a vote that likely will result in its passage in the House of Representatives.
