We just finished up this beautiful Wi******er 94 30-30 for a good friend of ours! It came in looking rough! We completely reblued the metal, refinished the wood, and ensured everything works as it should. I just wish I was better about taking before photos! This type of work takes time though, this beauty spent many months in our care. We are definitely not blue about the final results though!

UPDATE REGARDING SUPPRESSORS & SHORT-BARRELED FI****MS

We’ve received several questions regarding the recent court ruling and what it means for purchasing suppressors and short-barreled fi****ms without going through the traditional NFA process.

We are aware of the ruling and are following the situation closely. However, San Juan Outdoors will not be offering same-day or non-NFA transfers of suppressors or short-barreled fi****ms at this time.

Although the court ruling has raised significant questions about the application of the NFA to these items, there is currently a difference between a court ruling and clear, official guidance telling FFL/SOT dealers how ATF expects these transactions to be handled.

Simply put: we are not willing to put our federal fi****ms license—or our customers—in a potentially difficult legal position while that guidance remains unclear.

For now, we will continue handling suppressors and other NFA fi****ms through the established ATF process.

As soon as ATF provides official guidance and we can confidently determine the lawful procedure for dealers and customers, we will reevaluate our process and provide an update.

We know many of you are excited about the ruling, and we appreciate your patience while the legal and regulatory details are sorted out.

We recently heard of a “rumor” coming out of another local shop regarding our license status. The rumor was that we had illegally acquired our FFL by taking over another business, San Juan Sporting Goods.

We are not, and have never been affiliated with San Juan Sporting Goods, however the owners have been dear family friends (we miss Jay to this day).

We applied for our FFL when we established our LLC in January 2019. In March of 2019 we were granted our FFL as a Class 7, manufacturer of fi****ms. You can take a look for yourself online and see that the businesses have separate ownership and addresses.

This news was deeply concerning and honestly frustrating as the owners of the other shop have been a referral partner of ours, and certainly know how to contact us. Rather than saying “let me find out for sure” and calling us, they allowed this rumor to continue. I won’t publicly blast who this was, but it’s a small community, this is not acceptable.

If you have a concern on the legitimacy and legality of our business, look it up, or call us.

Tomorrow 2/16 is the day that this bill will be heard in the House Judiciary Committee, the final step before a vote that likely will result in its passage in the House of Representatives.
Being Presidents’ Day we should honor our forefathers and fight this atrocity of legislation. If you haven’t, get involved, take a moment and let the representatives know your position. Mike will be in Santa Fe to help make it known this will not make our state safer, it will only put honest hardworking business owners out of business.
