Night number 8 at Leadbelt. A little lower car count but it was hot and a holiday weekend. We still had some fun and some great racing.

We are off next weekend and will be ready for everyone at the Dirt Oval Mafia race the 19th.

Club race #8 incoming. Going to start out warm, Linna will have drinks for sale as usual. If you have an oval-specific car, we will find a place for you to run if there isn’t enough for the specific class. See you tomorrow evening.

Something that happened that we need to keep an eye on is parking. The only way in got completely blocked up Friday. There is plenty of room around the other end of the track to have everyone crowding the entrance. If someone that was in the back would need to leave or have a medical emergency we would have been scrambling to move cars and possibly pits to get them in and out. As you know the response time would not be very long since the ambulances are next door almost all evening.
Thanks for the help keeping an eye on it and trying to not continue to make it a potential issue.

Results for the 7th club race of the season. Track wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be after breaking it up it was a struggle to get it back down how I wanted but it worked out ok.

The Losi Sprint drivers were shy and didn’t want to take a picture I guess since they would come take one.

More exciting news!!!! Ryan Ralph from Team GFRP will be joining us for the Twists and Turns weekend. 🤩 In addition we will be holding a special clinic on Saturday morning at All Star with Ryan as the guest speaker. Who will it be? I hear there could be a clinic Saturday morning and I have my front row seat reserved already.

We have teamed up with Leadbelt RC Speedway to kick off our season for an exciting weekend packed full of TWISTS AND TURNS. This will be a 2 day race. Registration is $30 per car, this covers both days of racing. Come one day, come both days; however the cost is the same and points from both races will be combined. Trophies for top 3 in each class will be presented Saturday night. We will only be running the classes listed on the flyer. All cars will go thru tech at both tracks. The twist is…. YOU MUST RUN THE SAME CAR AT BOTH TRACKS. Cars will be marked with a special tamper proof sticker. The rules will be the same rules we follow for regular race nights. Run the tire of your choice. Race format will be the same as regular race nights. Pill draw, 2 rounds of qualifying and mains. We will do online preregistration to get an idea of car count. Just pay before you play. Come for the fun of the 2 day Twist and Turns !!!!

Club race #6 was a hot one!! We had a decent turnout and some really good racing.

Unfortunately racing will not happen this evening. It is still raining and even if it stopped now I’m not sure we would get the sun and wind we would need to dry out. Hope to see you all 8/14/26.
