Open #1 was my first time throwing at an ACL Open Event. What an experience.
Friday was not my best day, but fun. I threw in a Sit-&-Go before Singles as warm up placing 3rd. I threw decent in Intermediate Singles, but only good enough to tie for 17th in my bracket.
Saturday started off slow finishing 1-3 in Doubles Rounders landing in the Tier 3 (lower) bracket. Things picked up from there finishing 4th in my bracket with a lot of help from Joshua James (appreciate you throwing with me boss).

A few accomplishments from this past season.
After a couple of years of backyard co****le, the 2022-2023 ACL season was my first season to complete competitively. Talk about a learning curve and some very humbling experiences. I experimented with different grips, bag styles, and throwing techniques. Needless to say, there were more downs than ups at first. Finally started figuring a couple things out towards the end of the season and started making great improvements. Now, to build upon what I have learned and continue learning and growing.
