Invest in your future.

A Warrior's equipment does not always have to be the best; it does, however, need to improve your performance.

When you choose the appropriate shorts while riding a bike for prolonged distances, you can prevent many injuries. Neoprene reduces friction and prevents skin irritation.

Gloves are a valuable asset for improving grip while sweating. Control is critical, and your connection to the handlebars increases your chance of avoiding potential accidents.

Whatever physical activity you choose to stay fit, use every advantage to keep yourself in the fight for fit.

Warriors on two wheels.

There are tons of cardiovascular and injury mitigation/preservation benefits from bike riding.

With regular bike riding (30-65 minutes, 3-5 days a week), you will see improved cardio fitness, muscle strength, and flexibility: decreased stress levels, and improved posture and coordination.

It’s an adventure; you get the opportunity to explore places you’ve never been to or see familiar locations in a different light. Even indoor stationary bikes are great for limiting the impact on joints and reducing body fat.

Choose what type of bike works best for your personal goals and style. Talk to bike shops, and reach out on social platforms to gain insight into what kind of cycle; mountain, road, BMX, etc.

Here’s to the journey ahead🥂.

What’s your own pace?

Knowing when to slow down or stop is crucial to your fitness health, whether you are a seasoned ironclad Warrior or new to the fitness battlefield.

Some signs of knowing when to slow down: •Trouble Regulating Breathing
Feeling “winded” is understandable. You are pushing past your current ability, and the muscles need that oxygen-rich blood. No need to worry; reduce your workload, and keep going.
• Joint Pain
These areas are often weaker if the supporting muscle is not prepared to withstand heavy impact. If they cannot give the support required, reduce workload and keep going. Those with previous injuries should consider joint pain significantly necessary when choosing to slow down.

Signs to know when to STOP:
•Pain In The Chest
“Tightening,” “squeezing,” or “sharp” pain in this area is a severe event. Do not continue; take a break from the workout and re-evaluate your pain every 5 minutes. If the pain doesn’t reduce in 30-45 minutes, seek medical attention.
•Evident Body Issue
Body deformity or characteristics that are out of YOUR typical composition are grounds to stop the workout. However, if the issue is severe enough to prevent more training, do not continue and seek experienced medical guidance.

Learn your body and understand what to expect.

Keep up the intelligent work and continue that lifetime of fitness with reduced injuries.

Whether it’s the concrete jungle, desert, or mountains, find that peace ✌🏽.

I have heard the analogy that describes your attitude as a thermostat rather than a thermometer.

No matter the situation or circumstances, you can control how you feel and react (setting the temperature).

Other forces can affect your temperament and cause you to respond with frustration (taking the temperature).

It will continually be a challenge, so you use those spaces of peace to fuel your ability to manage to help with setting the scenario or maintaining your stability.
