The summer heat can increase your risk of dehydration, especially while exercising. Here are a few simple tips to help you stay hydrated.

- Drink a glass of water first thing in the morning.

-Carry a water bottle with you as you exercise and throughout the day.

-Drink before you get thirsty. Thirst is a sign that your body is already getting dehydrated.

Help us welcome our summer intern, Sophia Freimanis. Sophia is from Overland Park, Kansas, & recently graduated from the University of Arkansas with a degree in exercise science. She is excited to meet everyone, learn more and be a part of the Center for Exercise team.

She loves sewing, cooking, working out, spending time with friends and going on walks or hikes around NWA.
