🔥 TOURNAMENT RECAP | 10U YOUNG GUNS 🔥

Three games. A Gold Bracket goal that came up just short. And then these boys went right back to work and brought home the Silver Bracket Championship. 🏆

Game 1️⃣ — Young Guns 11 | Avalanche Red 3

The bats were rolling early and often. After a 1-1 start, the boys exploded for 5 runs in the 3rd and 5 more in the 4th to pull away.

⚾ 20 stolen bases
⚾ 9 walks
⚾ 7 different players collected hits
⚾ ZERO errors

That’s putting pressure on the defense from every angle.

Game 2️⃣ — Young Guns 6 | Dynasty 9

This one didn't go our way. Dynasty jumped out early, and despite the boys continuing to battle at the plate and on the bases, they couldn't quite close the gap.

⚾ 6 walks
⚾ 9 stolen bases
⚾ 4 different players collected hits

Sometimes you get punched early. What matters is how you respond.

Game 3️⃣ — SILVER BRACKET CHAMPIONSHIP 🏆

Young Guns 12 | Avalanche Red 4

And respond they did.

Down 1-0 early, the boys tied it up in the 2nd before absolutely breaking the game open with a 7-run 3rd inning. 🔥

⚾ 8 different players collected a hit
⚾ BJay C & Crew H drove in 2 each
⚾ 7 stolen bases
⚾ Jack E went 4 innings with 3 strikeouts

And just like that… SILVER BRACKET CHAMPS. 🏆

We came up short of the Gold Bracket, but that's baseball. What we saw this weekend was a group of boys who battled, adjusted, competed and finished.

And let's not forget the biggest opponent of the weekend… that HEAT. 🥵☀️

These boys balled out in it.

Proud of the way they kept fighting and finished the weekend with a championship.

Back to work. The grind never stops. 💪⚾️

What a weekend for Dylan T. 💙🩶⚾️

After helping lead the Young Guns 10U to two big wins, Dylan was named TOURNAMENT MVP! 🔥

And he definitely made his presence known:

⚾️ 3 RBIs in Game 2
🔥 Multiple big hits throughout the weekend
💨 Aggressive baserunning
💪 Consistent energy and effort

But what stands out most is the way Dylan competed for his team.

He showed up ready to play, made big plays when his team needed them, and helped set the tone all weekend.

🔥 YOUNG GUNS 10U — SUNDAY RECAP 🔥

Three games. Two wins. One tough loss on the final play.

But this team gave us A LOT to be proud of on Sunday at East Carrollton Sports Complex. 💙🩶⚾️

💥 GAME 1 — YOUNG GUNS 9 | PTC DIAMOND DOGS 4

The Young Guns came out hot in the first inning, jumping out to an early lead behind big hits from the lineup.

And then came a BIG moment…

💣 DYLAN T. WITH A 2-RUN HOMERUN TO CENTER FIELD!

The Diamond Dogs battled back to tie it in the second, but the Young Guns answered right back, retaking the lead and never giving it up.

🔥 2 double plays
🔥 Jordan H. — 2-for-2
🔥 Dylan T. — 2 RBIs
🔥 Bryson W. — scoreless inning in relief

The bats, defense, pitching and aggressive baserunning all came together for a great team win.

🚀 GAME 2 — YOUNG GUNS 16 | GAMECHANGERS SPENCER 4

The offense absolutely EXPLODED in this one.

After taking a 6-1 lead, the Young Guns put together a 10-RUN THIRD INNING to blow the game open!

And another HUGE homerun moment…

💣 BAYLOR B. CRUSHED A 3-RUN HOMERUN TO CENTER FIELD — OVER THE 200+ FOOT FENCE!

🔥 14 stolen bases
🔥 Dylan T. — 3 RBIs
🔥 Baylor B. — 3 RBIs + 3-run HR
🔥 Dylan T. & Jordan H. — 2 hits each

The lineup kept putting pressure on, the boys attacked the bases, and the offense never let up.

💙 GAME 3 — YOUNG GUNS 5 | SMYRNA SLAMMERS BLUE 6

This one came down to the FINAL PLAY OF THE GAME.

The Young Guns battled from the opening pitch, taking the lead into the bottom of the fifth before Smyrna scored the winning run to make it 6-5.

It wasn't the ending we wanted, but this team showed plenty of fight.

🔥 Bryson W. — 4 innings, 3 strikeouts, only 2 earned runs
🔥 Jack E. — 2-for-2
🔥 Baylor B. — 2 RBIs
🔥 8 stolen bases
🔥 1 double play

They battled. They competed. They never quit.

Sometimes baseball comes down to one play — and this team will learn from it and come back better.
