Have you ever heard that working out on an empty stomach can boost your performance?

Well, it's time to bust that myth! While it's true that some people find they have more energy when they work out fasted, studies have shown that eating a balanced meal a couple of hours before training can actually improve your performance 🍎🍳🏋🏼‍♀️.

When you eat before a workout, your body has more energy to fuel your activity, which can help you push yourself harder and achieve better results. So the next time you hit the gym, make sure you're properly fueled up - your body will thank you! 🙌🏼💪🏼🍇

With so much information online about quick diets and rapid weight loss, it can be difficult to keep track of the latest trends. 🤨

Laymen’s terms for the smart consumer: the healthy rate of weight loss is about one to two pounds per week.

Sure, you can try to shed three or four pounds in a single day with an extreme diet, but it won’t last! 🤷‍♂️

Save time, energy, and, more importantly, your health by committing to slow and steady 1-2 lbs-per-week weight loss.

It may not be as flashy as its counterparts, but it gets the job done in the long term! 📈

Apples are not just for teachers anymore - they are a delicious and nutritious snack for all! 🍎

Loaded with antioxidants, dietary fiber, and essential vitamins, apples can help protect against cell damage, weaken the effects of aging, lower cholesterol levels, improve heart health, and even aid in weight loss. 👈

Plus - let's face it - they taste amazing!

There is something special about biting into a crisp apple that no other fruit can replicate. 🍏

Whether they're steamed with honey as an indulgent dessert or simply sliced to snack on in between meals, apples are undeniably one of the best fruits out there.

As a great man once said - an apple a day...

Every fitness magazine and article promises us the holy grail of health - an 'easy and effortless' way to stay healthy and fit. 🧐

We search for so-called 'magic bullets' and silver bullets, only to find out that maintaining a healthy lifestyle involves a bit more than just popping some pills or hitting the gym hard once a week.

The truth is, there's no shortcut to good health. 🤷‍♂️

You have to make some sacrifices and put in the hard yards.

Eating nutritious foods, exercising regularly, getting enough sleep, and managing stress levels is what it takes if you're serious about looking and feeling your best.

So... sorry folks, no magic bullet here - it's time to get real! 🏋️‍♀️

When it comes to fitness and health, every little bit counts! ✊

It turns out that even as little as five percent weight loss can have a massive long-term impact on the condition of our bodies and overall health. 🫀

This means eating fewer calories, burning more through exercise, or both could be a quick win in terms of lowering our risk for certain debilitating conditions like diabetes, heart disease, and certain types of cancer. 🧐

Of course, if you want to lose more than five percent – that's great too!

But if you're short on time or just aiming for an easier target, know you can still make a positive difference with even the smallest changes.

Let's get started! 💪

Basal metabolic rate (BMR) is the minimum energy that the body needs to perform essential functions, such as breathing, circulation, and cell production.

It is often used as a reference point to estimate the daily caloric needs of an individual.

BMR is influenced by several factors, including age, gender, weight, height, and body composition.

Generally, BMR tends to decrease with age and is higher in men than in women.

However, other factors such as muscle mass and body fat also play a role in BMR, as muscle tissue requires more energy to maintain than fat tissue.

It is important to note that BMR is only a rough estimate of an individual's caloric needs, as it does not take into account the energy expenditure from physical activity or the thermic effect of food (the energy required to digest and process food).

Therefore, BMR should be used as a starting point to estimate caloric needs rather than a precise measure.

Training alone has its benefits as it allows you to focus solely on your own goals and progress.

You can push yourself harder and be more disciplined, which can lead to faster results. However, working out with a partner or group can also be beneficial.

Having someone else to keep you accountable, motivated and inspired can help you stay focused and reach your goals in a timely manner.

Training with a friend (or a loved one) can make the process more fun and enjoyable, too! 💪

So don't be afraid to go at it alone – or grab a buddy for some extra motivation! 🤗
