The Annual Cinco de Mayo 5k/10k Road Race is a Fayetteville Tradition since 2002 Our Cinco de Mayo event started in Ceiba, Puerto Rico May 5th 2001. Bragg. Julito
Soon after that we were stationed back in Ft. We had our Fayetteville Inaugural event in 2002. In 2003, due to the 100th Anniversary of the Wright's Brothers Festival of Flight in Fayetteville the event was temporarily moved to Ft. We went back to Fayetteville in 2003 and since then we have had more then $1000 dollars in cash prizes. In 2008 again we went back to Ft. Bragg returning back to Fayett
