✨ SEPTEMBER DANCER SPOTLIGHTS ✨

We may be a little late getting our September spotlights posted, but these three sweet dancers are very well deserving! 🩰💕

🌟 Maggie Rodrigues
Our sweet Maggie is part of our Preschool Dance program, and she brings so much “Maggie energy” into the room! Her happy-go-lucky personality is contagious, and she truly lights up her class the minute she walks through the door. She reminds us that sometimes the very best part of dance is simply the JOY of dancing! 💗

🌟 Olivia Hammill
Olivia is simply a joy to have at the studio! She has a wonderful personality, a kind heart, and is always willing to lend a hand or help another dancer. Her positive attitude and thoughtfulness toward others are exactly the qualities we love seeing in our dancers. 💕

🌟 Sophia Murray
Sophia truly is the epitome of a ballerina—not only in the beautiful dancer she has become, but in the person she is. She is kind, gracious, humble, and incredibly generous with her talent. Sophia is always willing to help others and is a wonderful role model for our younger dancers to look up to. 🩰✨

We are so proud to recognize Maggie, Olivia, and Sophia as our September Dancer Spotlights! Each one represents something we hope to nurture at Charlotte Blume School of Dance—joy, kindness, generosity, and a love for dance.

What a sweet look back at our Lemonade Stand last weekend! Seeing our dancers, parents, and families come together to support our 57th Nutcracker Production is what Charlotte Blume School of Dance is all about. 🩰✨

We are a family of dancers—supporting one another, making memories, and carrying on a legacy that has been part of our community for generations.

A HUGE great job and thank you to everyone who helped, donated, worked the stand, and stopped by to support us. We couldn’t do what we do without our incredible dance family! 🍋❤️

✨ MEET OUR INCREDIBLE NEW INSTRUCTOR— CHARLOTTE ANUB! ✨

We are beyond excited to welcome Charlotte Anub, professional ballet dancer and Company Artist with Carolina Ballet, to Charlotte Blume School of Dance! 🩰✨

Charlotte’s ballet journey began at just four years old at the renowned New York Theatre Ballet School. From those early days, her passion and talent quickly set her apart. She made her debut as Marie in Keith Michael’s The Nutcracker with New York Theatre Ballet and went on to become both an apprentice and company dancer with NYTB.

Ballet truly runs through Charlotte’s family—her mother was also a dancer with New York Theatre Ballet! The two even shared their beautiful ballet legacy on Good Morning America 3, giving audiences a glimpse into a remarkable mother-daughter connection through dance. ❤️

Charlotte has performed featured roles and worked in diverse repertory, including works by renowned choreographers such as Merce Cunningham and Donald Mahler. As a young artist, she also performed at the Youth America Grand Prix semifinals and presented special solos at New York City Center.

Her journey has continued to grow, leading her to professional company work and ultimately to Carolina Ballet in Raleigh, where she is now a Company Artist.

🌟 From a four-year-old dancer discovering her love of ballet to performing professionally on some of the most respected stages—Charlotte’s story is one of dedication, artistry, perseverance, and passion.

We cannot wait for our dancers to learn from her, be inspired by her, and experience firsthand what is possible when you dedicate yourself to your craft.

Always remember your “purpose”; your “why” in everything you choose to do in life. This is my why, and it always has been. Honoring her wishes, continuing the work she loved, and carrying on the legacy she built is both a privilege and a responsibility I cherish beyond words. Sharing the love, passion, and impact she poured into others is the greatest responsibility—and the greatest blessing—I could ever have. 🩷
