The Blue Birds are sponsoring a pitching and catching camp on Dec. 6 in Fayetteville for 2005 and 2006 girls. Experienced instructors at a 3:1 ratio or better. All levels welcome from beginner to experienced player. Cost is $10 for one-and-a-half hour session. (479) 462-4799 or [email protected]
The off-season is a great time to work on your skills and be a better player in Spring of 2016.

NWA Blue Birds 10U is filling roster spots now for the 2016 Spring season. We plan to play 5-6 Class C events and in a competitive league in NWA. The Blue Birds are a low-cost, low-drama organization with $25 initial fee covering uniform cost and then pay-as-you-go for tournaments. We are organizing sponsored off-season workouts now. The NWA Blue Birds 10U are sponsoring a “Skills and Drills” Clinic on Sunday, Nov. 8 at 1:30 p.m. at Walker Park in Fayetteville.
The clinic will be conducted by a private coach, Jeff Baker, that we have worked with before and he does a great job. Lots of fundamentals of fielding, catching, throwing and hitting will be covered.
I am asking for a small donation of $5 a player to pay him an honorarium.
Please RSVP so we can plan for the clinic. This is an Open workout for anyone that is interested in playing tournament ball in the Spring of 2016.
Weather forecast is for sunny and mid 50s so it should be a good day for softball.

The Blue Birds played their first live arm tournament on Saturday at the MVP Classic in Bentonville and went 2-2 against more experienced competition.
