Good morning everyone. I hope you are all doing well and staying safe.
This is to inform everyone that I am not continuing TKD classes anymore. I’m done! My students are everything to me and I truly miss them. I’m o ver 70 years old and I have over 52 years in martial arts, consider me fully retired! This virus has done me in. My school is not large enough for proper spacing and I’m too old to workout with a mask on. I don’t want to catch anything and bring this home to my wife. We stay home except for groceries. We have not seen our grandchildren since March and they’re only 20 minutes away from us. The only thing that I’m doing is my art daily. Over 40 years ago I put my art away for TKD and said that when I’m older, I’ll go back to my art, WELL, I’M OLDER!
It’s been a honor and a privilege to work with so many people. I’ve had so many adventures in TKD and developed such friendship. I was fortunate to have traveled abroad many times for TKD. I’ve never regretted the decision I made back in 1976 about giving up my art for TKD. TaeKwon-Do has always been my life, but, I feel this is the time. Stay strong and stay safe. You’ll always be in my heart.

Hello everyone, I hope everyone is staying safe and healthy. Here we are with day 4 of the two weeks quarantine. I miss my students and teaching class. Stay busy and don’t neglect your TKD training. Just because we’re not getting together right now, doesn’t mean you just stop training. You have worked hard to get to where you are now. Continue to train the days you normally take class. Practice your one steps, grab a chair and practice your kicks. Use the chair for your balance. Work on your stretch, we all need to improve. You don’t need much room to do a lot of what’s necessary to improve while we’re out right now. To my students, I’ll keep in touch with you and critique your technique as time goes on. Hang in there and stay safe.

Congratulations to all that tested last night. Excellent job, you definitely knew your stuff and all of you did a great job in breaking. I’m very proud of all of you. Keep training on your own during our shutdown. Stay healthy and see you in April.
