The Life of a Gun Range owner diaries....

Everyone knows that all gun range owners are a-holes. And I guess I am no exception. But it our defense, maybe we all weren't a-holes when we started owning the gun ranges.

So today I had a customer start shooting on my range without speaking with me prior in order to iron the reason I kicked him off my range several weeks ago. Over the phone he confirmed that he was suppose to visit with me upon his arrival. So when I drove up to him and his friends they were ALL sitting in their lawn chairs after starting to shoot. And all were drinking beer. I was shocked and asked if they were drinking beer. His response was, "yes, do you want one?"
So welcome a day in the life of a gun range owner.

Well the 3 Gun Match is tomorrow.
And the weather says a 30% chance of rain.
SO! AT 7AM we will make the call. Of course if we say it's go and it starts raining at 8 or 9am we will call it off. Basically this one is coming down to the wire!!!! We hated to cancel early because the new year is bringing a whole lot of changes with the 3 gun match. New categories etc. Greg and Tim have been working to make these changes. So let's cross our fingers the rain misses us.

Oh and just a FYI. TDSA is also bringing back our .22 only matches starting very soon. So keep an eye out. Feb will probably be the first official match date.

This weekend is the Sub Machinegun Match. If you have never shot one you should! The match director can help you get set up if you don't already have one. So contact TDSA and we will get you in touch with the Sub Gun match director. Slack Out!

TDSA 3 Gun match will be canceled for tomorrow unless there are some volunteers that speak up ASAP . The range is finally Dry but we are short staffed and working to catch up on the vegetation growth from 34 days of rain.
I will leave this up for a couple hours then make it official.
