🎯 Club Updates & Recent Highlights 🚜

There’s been a lot happening around the club lately!

We recently acquired a mower that’s new to us, and it will help us keep the grounds looking their best throughout the season.

A big thank you goes out to everyone who volunteered during our recent workday. We had a great crew come together to clean out the shed, trim weeds, and tackle several projects around the property. Your hard work and dedication help make our club a place we can all be proud of.

The workday also brought some exciting additions to the pistol range. Members can now test their skills on bowling pins and our new reactive popup target, adding even more fun and challenge to range time.

Beyond the improvements to the grounds and range, we've also enjoyed some fantastic participation at recent events. Our Women’s Shoot had an excellent turnout and was a great opportunity for both new and experienced shooters to enjoy the sport in a welcoming environment. We also had a strong showing for our Centerfire Pistol event, with plenty of friendly competition and camaraderie on display.

Thank you to all of our volunteers, participants, and members who continue to make this club such a great community. We look forward to seeing everyone at the range and at upcoming events!

**Mark Your Calendar for June 24th**
Join us staring at 5 pm for our Center Fire Pistol Event then stick around for our Monthly Membership Meeting at 7:30 pm

This open-format pistol event is perfect for all experience levels!

**Event Highlights:**
✅ Open to ALL rimfire & centerfire pistols
✅ Optics and modifications allowed
✅ 5 timed runs (minimum 5 rounds each)
✅ Misses add time — challenge yourself to improve each run

**Cost:**
💥 FREE for HCCL members
💥 $5 for non-members/guests

**What You’ll Need:**
• Firearm (unloaded, bagged or cased)
• 25+ rounds of ammo
• At least 2 magazines (5+ rounds each)
• Holster (required for centerfire)
• Eye & ear protection

**Good to Know:**
📌 Mandatory safety briefing before the event
📌 One of 8 stages will be selected on event day (find them on our website)
📌 Be ready to shoot at least 2 runs when it’s your turn
📌 All other ranges will be closed during the event

Come out, challenge yourself, and enjoy a great day at the range!

**Workday Scheduled for Saturday, June 20th at 2 pm**

Goals for this workday:
✔️ Weedwack
✔️ Clean out the old shed on the west side of the clubhouse
✔️ Organize the newer shed on the east side of the clubhouse

We do have a few string trimmers at the club but we encourage those who are able to bring their own. Many tools will make for quicker work!

Help us keep the club looking nice by participating in the scheduled workday!
