If you've been out to the driving range recently, you may have noticed we've made a few changes to our grass hitting area!

These updates are designed to help us keep the turf healthier, provide better hitting conditions, and ensure everyone gets to enjoy a great natural grass experience throughout the season.

Here's how you can help:
✅ Please hit between the white boards.
✅ Only hit from the grass between the two blue reflectors.
✅ Please do not cross the yellow rope or enter the cautioned-off area. We're giving that section some time to recover so it can come back even stronger!

A little teamwork goes a long way. By following these simple guidelines, you're helping us maintain one of the best grass hitting areas around for everyone to enjoy.

🚧 BIG THINGS ARE HAPPENING AT ANCHORED SPORTS! ⛳🎉

Our **new tee mat expansion** is really starting to come together, and we couldn't be more excited!

Soon, when the weather is too wet to hit from the grass, you'll have **10 additional tee mat stations** just outside our covered bays. That means more space, less waiting, and more opportunities to keep your swing sharp—even after the rain!

We're working hard to make your experience even better, and we can't wait to share the finished project with you.

There’s something special about an early morning.

Before the crowds arrive and the first golf ball is hit, we’re already hard at work getting Anchored Sports ready for another great day. This morning, after taking care of a few repairs around the facility—including fixing this bench—we took a moment to sit down and enjoy the sunrise.

Sometimes the busiest mornings are the perfect reminder to slow down and appreciate God's incredible creation. Every sunrise is a fresh reminder of His faithfulness, His beauty, and the blessings of a new day.

We are excited to officially welcome Aaron Payne Golf to Anchored Sports!

With more than 35 years in the game of golf, Aaron brings an incredible wealth of knowledge and experience to our facility. His background spans every corner of the golf industry—from working at a driving range in high school, to country club operations, coaching high school golfers, teaching hundreds of lessons, running junior clinics, serving as a rules official, and becoming a Master Club Fitter.

Aaron is a US Kids Golf Certified Coach, a PGA of America Associate, a longtime USGA member, and completed Ohio State University's Golf Management Program with Distinction.

What we love most is Aaron's philosophy: golf should be simple, fun, and accessible to everyone. His approach focuses on helping golfers understand the game through easy-to-learn techniques that build confidence and enjoyment on the course.

Whether you're picking up a club for the first time or looking to take your game to the next level, Aaron is ready to help.

Last year, we had the privilege of expanding our circle of friends and getting to know Denny Jarrett and the incredible mission behind BFF;Journeys

Denny visits Anchored Sports several times each week, and we've had the opportunity to see firsthand the impact he and his coaches are making. Through their dedication, they are helping individuals learn the game of golf and experience opportunities many never thought possible.

We're grateful to Denny and the entire BFF Journey team for allowing Anchored Sports to be a small part of this amazing journey. Watching participants grow in confidence, develop new skills, and enjoy the game we all love is truly inspiring.

BFF Journey is another example of what it means to be Anchored in this community, creating opportunities, building relationships, and making a difference one swing at a time.

One of the missions behind Anchored Sports has always been to be truly anchored in our community.

This past weekend, thanks to all of you, we had the opportunity to support two incredible organizations that are making a difference right here at home. On Friday, 15% of our sales were donated to Little Lions Playschool and on Sunday, 15% of our sales were donated to The Garrison Fatherhood Program through the Women’s Resource Center of Hancock County.

Because of your support, we're excited to share that Little Lions Preschool will receive $240, and The Garrison Program will receive $300!

To our many new followers, we'll be sharing more of our story later this week. But the short version is this: in 2020, one of our owners faced several emergency surgeries. Through that difficult season, this community surrounded our family with prayers, meals, encouragement, and support. By the grace of God, she is still with us today.

We have never forgotten what this community did for our family, and giving back is one small way we can say thank you.
