Not a bad way to end your race season with setting two new track records and getting quick time in all 3 cars!

We have to thank Tad Fiser Racing, Inc. for the fast cars he has made, and taking care of us these past few years. We have enjoyed racing with you, and hanging out at the track. Even though it meant another weekend when you wouldn’t get around to mowing the lawn…😂

After a busy weekend and some time to wind down, we finally have a moment to post!

This past weekend was full of competition, challenges, smiles, hugs... and some tears.

Maggie finished out her home season with a podium finish (3rd in her Animal) and a tough run in her 160. She ended up 2nd in both in her class, so she was happy! This girl has improved so much this year and has really started to come into her own behind the wheel and figure it out. We are so proud of the growth she’s made and everything she’s learned competing in this sport. We can’t wait to see what she does next!

Greyson finished out his last season with Rocky Mountain Quarter Midget Association on a high note! He took 1st overall in his Animal, and 2nd overall in World Formula and 160 (1st in his class). It has been so awesome to watch him grow in this sport and work his way into being a dang good driver (our totally biased opinion!). We are so proud of the driver he has become and all the work he’s put in.

But more than seeing the trophies and wins, we’ve loved watching these kids develop into competitors who give it their all, dig deep for what they want, respect others, and lose with dignity and grace (well… we’re still working on that last one!). We’ve loved watching them build deep friendships and make memories that will last long after the checkered flag.

As Greyson closes this chapter, thank you to RMQMA, the families, the kids, and this incredible sport for giving him so much more than racing. Grey, you’ve learned lessons on and off the track that will stick with you for life, and we are forever grateful for this community that has become family.

Thanks to all who have supported us in this journey, cheering with us at the track and far away online! It has meant so much to us as a family!

Here’s to the next year and adventure!

From one thing to the next!! These kids did great in their rugby matches! Maggie was captain for a game and kicked off, had some great tackles and strong runs! Grey is getting a hang of the game, and even scored a Try today! Now on to racing!! Whew!😅Dawn Zwisler

Last day in of the season! This is well said about our kids and our club! We have had a great season.

Our 2026 season finale and final timing day is today - one more chance to race at RMQMA before we close the book on this season.

It’s sure to be a bittersweet day. For some of our retiring drivers, it will be their last RMQMA season finale. For some of our rookies, it will be their very first.

Looking back, 2026 has been a big year.

We had 43 drivers call RMQMA their home club. We welcomed 22 (!) rookies this season, and 9 of them have graduated into competitive classes.

Another 71 kids got their first taste of quarter midget racing through Arrive & Drive. There really is nothing quite like that first experience behind the wheel of a race car.

We watched 6 track records fall, set by 3 different drivers. And our drivers voted on 2 of their own to receive the Josh Wolfe Sportsmanship recognition.

But underneath all of those numbers are the parts of a race season that can’t really be counted.

The countless times a kid faced their fears and worked through those pre-race butterflies. The hug after a first win, a first pass, or finally accomplishing a goal they had been chasing. Learning to congratulate the kid who beat you - and then running off to play together five minutes later.

Friends screaming your name from the stands. Parents trying to keep up. The inevitable race-day mixups when someone forgets the fuel, a driver pulls off a lap early, or the whole family realizes nobody turned the crockpot on. 😂

There were hard lessons learned, big celebrations, frustrating days, proud moments, and friendships that somehow feel years old even though some of them only started this spring.

Those are the things we’ll carry with us into next season. The records and statistics will stay where they are, but these kids - and this club - will keep growing together.

One more raceday to go.

Thank you, RMQMA, for an amazing 2026. ❤️🏁
