PGF was a tough one for us. We went 0-3-1 and definitely took some licks. But this weekend was about so much more than wins and losses. This group is learning how to play together, learning each other, building confidence, and figuring out what it truly means to be a team.
And if there’s one thing I know about this group, it’s that we have something pretty special. These girls genuinely love each other. They celebrate each other, pick each other up, laugh together, and are learning that being a great teammate matters just as much as being a great player.
And I dare you to find another parent group like ours — one that genuinely loves and cheers for every single kid on this team like they’re their own. We celebrate every hit, every catch, every strikeout, and every little moment of growth, no matter whose name is on the back of the jersey. That kind of support is rare. 💙
And just like any family, we may not always agree. Parents can argue, have different opinions, and drive each other a little crazy. 😂 But at the end of the day, we have each other’s backs. Because that’s what family does.
The bonds these girls are building, the friendships they’re making, and the way they continue to show up for one another mean more than any win or loss ever could.
That’s something worth fighting for.
Proud of this special group of girls and the families standing behind them. We’ll take the lessons, get back to work, and keep building.
