Happy Birthday to #97, Kaylee Summers! 🥳❤️🖤

Today we’re celebrating Kaylee, not just the softball player, but the girl behind #97!

Kaylee is an excellent student at Roncalli High School and has a creative side with a love for art. 🎨 When she’s not at school or on the softball field, some of her favorites include Starbucks, ice cream, and Texas Roadhouse rolls and really, who can argue with that combination? 😂☕🍦🥖

One of the best parts of being a team is getting to know these girls beyond the uniform. We’re proud to have Kaylee representing the Shockwaves both on and off the field, and we hope she feels extra celebrated today!

Happy Birthday, #97! We hope your day has Starbucks in the morning, ice cream for dessert, and all the rolls and cinnamon butter you can handle. 😂🎂

Our athletes come from communities across Indiana, united by the same vision and the same goal, to work hard, compete with purpose, and continue developing as players, teammates, and young women.

We're excited for the road ahead as we continue building something special, creating lasting memories, and supporting one another in every step of the journey.

Coach Rob's idea was a team dinner.... then Coach Rob bailed. 😂

The real championship wasn't on the field...

It was getting a table for 10 softball players and 2 coaches on a Saturday night at the Cheesecake Factory at the Easton Mall in Columbus, Ohio. 😆 Thankfully, Coach Jeremy and Coach Mark came through like the champs they are.

These girls finished their summer schedule strong, earning the #1 seed in their pool at the Buckeye RecruitFest and finishing the weekend 3-1-1.

More important than the wins, this group continued building chemistry, creating memories, and proving what One Team. One Family. is all about.

We're excited to have so many returning players this fall and can't wait to see what this core group accomplishes together. The future is bright, and we're just getting started.
