Geist Reservoir USA Bassin Senior Opens

Our USA Bassin Senior Open anglers found the fishing at Geist Reservoir to be all over the map at yesterday’s fourth event. Some teams reported catching multiple sixteen inch keepers while other lamented the fact they didn’t have a bite. But hey, that’s fishing!
Congratulations to our repeat winners, Trent & Todd Stone on their 12.02 limit and Rick Cummins and Bill McDonald on their second place finish which was anchored by the day’s Big Bass.
With that, Team Stone has now taken the lead in the series championship with just one event left in the 2026 season. But as we all know, no lead is safe with all the hammers in this series!

Twenty-five USA Bassin Senior teams have set out on Geist Reservoir this morning, each looking for their three fish limit of 16 inch bass. But the fish aren’t going to be the only ones wet!
The showers are just about here… Who else will admit to having forgot their rain gear besides us?!?

Mother Nature was very kind to all the teams who took part in the first tournament of the 2026 season with unseasonably warm temperatures... The bass were not as cooperative with everyone however! The team of Rick Cummings and Bill McDonald took top honors with a three-bass limit of 16.00 lbs anchored with the day's Big Bass of 6.16. Wow! With their win, Rick and Billy will take the early lead in the trail's year-end team championship race sponsored by Catch A Limit who specialize in bass boat accessories. Second place went to the team of Shane Peters and Barry Lux with three bass totaling a very respectable 12.37 lbs. Todd Stone and Randy Rumfelt held on for third place while our old pals Wendall Smith and Randy Lambert took the fourth place check. Congratulations everyone!
