The Valkyries are headed to the NBHL Cup Championships!

So excited to be competing as the first-ever Women’s Tier 1 team at the NBHL Championships! We’re ready for a huge weekend of hockey and hoping to bring home another championship.

🏆 The New England Valkyries are heading to the 2026 NBHL Cup!

The New England Valkyries dominated the NBHL Massachusetts Tier 1 Division, finishing the regular season with an impressive 8–2 record to earn the #1 seed.

The Valkyries are making history as the first-ever team to qualify for the NBHL Women's Tier 1 Division, cementing their place in league history.

After capturing the 2025 NBHL Women's Championship in Tier 2, the Valkyries are back with a new challenge - ready to compete at the highest level and chase another 2026 NBHL Cup Championship.

Now, the New England Valkyries will travel to Blackwood, New Jersey, ready to compete against the best of the best on the national stage.

Huge weekend for the Valkyries
Back-to-back shutouts with a 6-0 win over the Queens and 4-0 over the Blaze. 10 goals scored, 0 allowed — complete team effort from start to finish. Defense locked it down and goaltending was unreal all day.
Awesome to have Lisa back in her first weekend after injury — she looked great out there. And big shoutout to Sarah Hughson for stepping in and making a huge impact for us.

Weekend 3 can’t come soon enough. After weekend 2 was cancelled due to the rain, we’re ready to get back out there for some big rematches. 🏒🔥

We’re back this Sunday for two big matchups. First up, the Selkies -coming off a big opening weekend and shootout win - then we go head to head against the undefeated Nightmares. It’s April vacation week so rosters are a little short, but we’re ready to battle and keep the momentum going. Let’s keep it rolling.

Huge opening weekend for the Valkyries.
Two games, two wins.
2-0 over the Blaze.
4-1 over the Queens.
We came in short-handed but never let it slow us down. Everyone stepped up, battled hard, and played a complete team game from start to finish.
And Kirsten… absolute brick wall in net all day.
Happy with weekend 1 resulted and ready for weekend 2 to keep building chemistry.
