We sat down with him ahead of Western States to talk family, fishing, Jersey Mike’s loyalty, and what he does the second he crosses the finish line.

This week we’re celebrating longtime Pro Squirrel and one of the true gems of the trail running community,

An accomplished trail and ultrarunner from Los Gatos, California, Mandie has spent years crushing races across every kind of terrain imaginable. From representing Team USA on the 24-Hour National Team to tackling some of the sport’s toughest ultras, her versatility and grit are undeniable.

But what makes Mandie truly special is everything she gives back to the community. Whether she’s stewarding trails, pacing and crewing fellow runners to the finish line, volunteering her time, or helping out at the Squirrel’s Nut Butter booth at races across the country, she’s always showing up for others.

We’re incredibly grateful for all that she does for SNB and for the trail running community as a whole.

Next up: Dark Divide 100 this September. We’ll be cheering her on every step of the way. 🐿️
