Nova joined HARD in 2022 and has been rolling with us ever since! What started as putting on a pair of skates turned into competing around the world — something they never imagined they’d be doing. 🛼✨

When Nova isn’t out there doing derby things, you can probably find her enjoying a halftime pickle, gummies… or the ultimate combo: piickle gummies. 😂🥒🍬

Did you know? Many roller derby skaters love the sport so much that they don't stop skating when they travel!

One of the coolest things about the roller derby community is how welcoming it is. Many leagues open their practices to travel skaters, giving visitors the chance to drop in, skate, and learn alongside a new team (typically for a small drop-in fee).

Skating with different leagues is a great way to experience new coaching styles, strategies, and gameplay while meeting incredible people from all over. Every practice is a chance to grow both on and off the track!
