Happy Mother’s Day!

Our commitment to hospitality doesn’t just happen. It’s part of our training and it’s woven into our culture. Our staff is getting ready for a busy summer season with a refresher on the service-oriented, Pine Canyon way of getting things done.

Pine Canyon is more than golf. But when we tee off on the golf season here, it feels like we’re teeing up summer, when lazy afternoons and playful evenings replace deadlines and school bells. See you on the course soon.

At Pine Canyon, we sink putts in nature’s playground, often encountering elk or catching a glimpse of a gliding osprey during a round. We’re lucky to play here, and we know it, because every day feels like Earth Day.

When we’re able to open the course for the season, it’ll be ready. We’re busy prepping bunkers and greens, dreaming of that first tee shot – right down the middle.

Our course has more water than you might think, and our 11th hole is a perfect example of the decisions you’ll have to make to avoid it. If you go left, or long, you’re wet – which makes the green’s front-right bunker almost appealing by comparison.

Pine Canyon’s Director of Agronomy, Andy Huber, understands the science that lies beneath a manicured course.

It’s during the off season that we work on things that may go unnoticed but are never unimportant. Irrigation is one of those things. Our agronomy team at Pine Canyon uses quiet times to update and maintain irrigation systems, critical elements of a healthy course.

The best way to know what it feels like to be a member at Pine Canyon is to experience it for yourself. Our Discovery Visits allow you to stay and play, taking in all that Pine Canyon living has to offer in a community that averages three acres of open space per person. Reserve a visit early to make sure the dates you want are available.

Things change and we adjust. Curbside takeout is happening at Pine Canyon, so feel free to answer those cravings.

We miss golf, too. But, we'll be ready when it returns.

On this day in 2003, Michelle Wie secured her name in golf history at the LPGA Kraft Nabisco Championship - at just 13 years old, becoming the youngest player to make an LPGA cut. Her third-round 66 earned a spot in the final group with Annika Sorenstam and Patricia Meunier-Lebouc, and she ultimately finished tied for ninth.
