The Bridge Mental Health Youth Conference Series will be at Flatonia High School THIS WEDNESDAY, September 23rd!

WE ARE SOOOOO EXCITED TO POST THIS!!!

🦃❤️ THANKSGIVING DAY FREE MEALS ❤️🦃

We are so excited to announce that FYSE and Mrs. Mary will be hosting another Thanksgiving Day Free Meal!

This fundraiser means a great deal to us , and we are truly excited to be a part of it. Last year was a huge success, and this year we want to start fundraising early so Mrs. Mary and the league have plenty of time to prepare, organize, and cook enough food for everyone who needs a hot meal on Thanksgiving.

But this isn’t just about a meal. We also want to make sure anyone who may not have family nearby, or simply needs somewhere to spend Thanksgiving, knows there is a place for them. ❤️

There are many ways our community can help:

🚗 Delivery Drivers to deliver meals to those who aren’t mobile
🍽️ Servers
🪑 Set-Up Crew
💰 Monetary Donations
🥧 Desserts
🍂 Extra Thanksgiving Decorations

And for our students, this is a great opportunity to earn community service hours!

We are starting early because an event like this takes a LOT of preparation, food, volunteers, and love. If you’re able to help in any way, we would truly appreciate it.

Let’s come together as a community and make sure there is a seat at the table for anyone who needs one this Thanksgiving. 🧡

Fall soccer has started!!!!
This year, our kiddos get a chance for new competition; La Grange Optimist Club has graciously agreed to play against us. Come hang out, cheer on the kids, and relax on a Tuesday evening or Saturday morning.

With Fall soccer starting our Board wanted to take a minute to send a huge shout-out to our coaches

To all of our FYSE coaches ❤️

Coaching is so much more than showing up for practice. You’re teaching them how to work hard, how to be a good teammate, how to handle losing, how to keep going when things get tough, and sometimes just being that extra adult in their corner.
We know your evenings could be spent relaxing at home, but instead you choose to invest that time in our kids. And as a league, we truly appreciate you for it.
Thank you for volunteering, caring, teaching, encouraging and showing up. What you do matters more than you probably realize. 🏃‍♀️🏈⚽️🏀📣

Fyse's very first FALL Soccer Season is happening this week! Keep an eye out for those selling tickets around the community. Right now, tickets aren't available online, but if you're interested, please reach out to one of our youth soccer players. Games kick off tomorrow. We'd love to see you there and share in the fun

Big announcement!!!!!!

⚽️ Fall Soccer Season Is Here! ⚽️

As we get ready to kick off soccer, we also want to be mindful of something we can’t control here in Texas: the heat! 🥵

While Flatonia Youth Sports & Events is NOT a UIL organization, we take the safety of our athletes seriously. Our league has purchased a Wet Bulb Globe Temperature (WBGT) tool to help us monitor the heat and humidity during practices and games.

Our school has also graciously provided us with the UIL heat index recommendations as a reference to help us make informed decisions when conditions are extreme.

These recommendations are NOT required by our league, but we believe that when it comes to our kids, being proactive is always the better choice ❤️

We will do our best to monitor the heat and make adjustments when necessary. Our goal is to let our kids play, have fun and compete while doing everything we can to keep them safe.

Parents, please help by making sure your athlete comes hydrated and prepared for the Texas heat. 💧

The heat may be part of Texas soccer, but keeping our kids safe will always come first. ⚽❤️
