“I am Shane.
Songwriter. Musician. Lifter of weights. Dreamer of dreams.
I joined Sal’s in 2020 right as lockdown restrictions were lifting. At that point in my life I had never touched a weight and was maybe 145 pounds of skin and bone.
Within a year I became unrecognizable.
Jake and Ashleigh taught me proper lifting technique, how to eat, and most importantly built a personalized program that was simple to follow. As long as I showed up and did the work, the results came.
Joining Sal’s changed my life. And here I am six years later—joining all over again.
I used to not understand when people said they hated going to the gym. Like it was another chore. Something hanging over their head all day that they dreaded… or skipped entirely.
Now I get it.
I’m a member at Planet F**kin’ Fitness.
Because Sal’s is different.
