Hey- It’s Shannon here. I’m having a garage sale tomorrow 10-3 to prep for moving. I’ve got some Jolyn, Nike and Speedo practice suits, some swim equipment, and a boatload of 2 piece suits, including Jolyn and TYR, as well as fashion suits from Maaji, Target, etc. (From XXS to womens M). In addition, I still have a couple tech suits (Lauren’s, all speedo, all black). I also have one, brand new Speedo jammer in a 30 for boys. Feel free to stop by or message me if you’re interested.

Happy first official day of summer, I hope everyone has been enjoying it so far! It’s been so fun to see so many of the swimmers at summer club meets. I am just checking in (with good news!) to let you all know about the progress of our pool at the Y. Our CEO met with the construction company yesterday, and as of right now, we are still on track for an end-of-August opening! I was able to go in and see the progress in the mechanical room and on deck. Since I last saw it, a lot more tile has been put down over by the locker rooms, and I was even able to sneak a couple of pictures! The mechanical room is also looking really good! While I know we’re all anxious to get in the water here, good things take time, and I am hopeful the pool will be ready for our fall season. The construction team has been in every day, working hard and making progress. The wait will be worth it!

Also, a reminder that there is still time to sign up for our sprint freestyle clinic next weekend (June 28)! The registration deadline for that is Thursday, June 26.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the Falcon Swim Moms!

Today’s the day! It’s been a really busy week of moving, organizing, cleaning and prep work, but the new YMCA opened today and Falcons were in Studio One for dryland! We have to wait a few more weeks for the pool, but the rest of the building looks AMAZING! 🏋🏼‍♀️💪🏼💦🏊🏼‍♂️

We’re just about there! Today we had a last minute practice change so the swimmers are in ONE more time at the old pool.

Karri Kuzma christened the hoops in the Kuzma Gymnasium at the Downtown YMCA this morning! We look forward to seeing you Friday!

We had a great time at our end of season banquet!! Congratulations to all of the swimmers for a great year! We can't wait to get back in the pool for our spring season!
