Dance has a way of making us feel like we should always be doing more. Turning more.
Jumping higher.
Moving faster.
Getting the next skill.
Being better than we were yesterday.
But progress doesn’t always happen in big, noticeable moments.
Sometimes it’s the tiny adjustment in your technique.
The extra bit of strength you’ve built.
The correction you finally understand.
The confidence to try again after failing.
The vulnerability you have finally tapped into.
The moment you realize something that once felt impossible is starting to feel a little easier.
Those small moments are progress.
Your journey doesn’t have to look like anyone else’s. Some seasons will bring huge breakthroughs, while others may feel slow and frustrating. But even in the slow seasons, you are learning, growing, strengthening, and becoming a better dancer.
So celebrate the small wins. Trust the process. Give yourself grace.
You don’t have to get there all at once.
Keep showing up. Keep putting in the work. Keep taking the next step.
Because every step forward—no matter how small—is still movement toward where you’re meant to be.
