Today, the Chad Goodloe Academy (CGA) would like to extend our sincere gratitude to Tennessee Valley Authority for opening your doors and allowing our students to tour your plant.

This experience gave our youth the opportunity to see firsthand the dedication, teamwork, and innovation that go into providing power for our communities. More importantly, it introduced them to career paths and opportunities they may not have known existed.

Meet the Heart Behind CGA
Today, I want to take a moment to recognize someone who rarely seeks the spotlight but deserves every bit of it—my beautiful wife, Lucretia Goodloe.
Many people see the camps, the leagues, the events, and the programs that make the Chad Goodloe Academy (CGA) what it is. What many don’t see are the countless hours of planning, organizing, scheduling, encouraging, and behind-the-scenes work that make it all possible.
Lucretia is truly the brain behind so much of CGA’s success. She is the one who helps turn ideas into action, keeps everything organized, and constantly pours her heart into serving our youth and community. She does it all with humility, grace, and a servant’s heart.
She is a little shy and never asks for recognition, but today I want to make sure she gets the appreciation she has earned. None of this would be possible without her unwavering support, wisdom, patience, and love.
Thank you, babe, for believing in this vision, standing beside me through every challenge, and helping us impact the lives of so many young people. Your work may often go unnoticed, but it never goes unappreciated.
