Get to know your U14 and U16 Boys Coach, John Froman‼️🔥👏

⚽️ Coach Froman has been coaching at SSC for 5 years. Prior to that he has coached on and off for local rec teams and for a few years at high school level.

⚽️ The most enjoyable part of coaching for him is seeing his players take what is worked on in practice and implementing that skill into live game experiences.

⚽️ Coach Froman’s goal is for every player to love the game more every year.

⚽️ He would like his players to remember what it means to work hard to improve, but also to have fun while doing it.

Get to know your U17 Boys Coach, Jesse Mendoza‼️🔥👏

⚽️ Coach Mendoza enjoys designing sessions that have a purpose, and seeing those ideas translate into better performances on the field. He also enjoys creating disciplined, confident, intelligent players who understand the game and compete with intensity. Nothing is more satisfying than watching a player improve because of the work they put in and the environment we’ve created together.

⚽️ He hopes every player learns that their mindset is something no one can take away from you. There will always be obstacles, losses, and moments when things don’t go your way, but your attitude, your work ethic, and the way you respond are always within your control. If they leave his team with resilience, accountability, and confidence in their ability to keep improving, then he's done his job as a coach.

⚽️ Most of all, he wants his players to leave him with a lifelong love for the game and the confidence to chase big goals; knowing that growth comes from giving everything you have every single day.
