how you train matters. š ĆÆn b!0
I RAN 1+ MILES FOR 30 DAYS STRAIGHT. Hereās what I learned:
1. You donāt need all the gear. Good shoes and socks, a running belt and a comfy outfit will go a long way.
2. Warm up. Just trust me.
3. of course it sucks because you suck at it. It will suck less if you get better.
4. Youāll actually get momentum when you start pushing through the sh*tty days.
5. You will build self esteem and self worth to every single time you show up and do what you said you were going to do.
6. Finish every run strong.
The challenge was a success. I had good runs, great runs, and some very bad runs but I was always proud when I finished. Now, time to lock in on some speed work to get that 6:30 mile!

Donāt let hustle culture keep you from actually finding consistency. If 5 years from now you can look back and say āhey, I trained at least twice a week almost every week!ā instead of āIāve started and quit so many times Iāve lost countā, congratulations, youāve found consistency.
As a coach, I set the expectation that when you show up, you show up and give everything you have that day and that you hold yourself to a standard thatās both aspirational and achievable. Weāre out here building marriages with training, not situationships š
